I receive hundreds of emails asking about the orgin of the "College" sweatshirt. John's classic pose graces the halls of dorms all over the country: The absolute icon of the Amercian Party Animal.
There are several sites on the internet that claim to share the orgin of the "College" Sweatshirt. One guy even claims to have made the shirt for John when he came into his store. According to John's widow, the "College" sweatshirt was John's idea, and was made prior to the movie Animal House, in Eugene, Ore. Regardless of the orgin, lets enjoy the smiles it brings to our faces when we see it.
